This project was built for our client Location 3. The 16,000 square feet building accommodates DFS Furniture on a 1.4 acre site at Margate Road/Westwood Road, immediately opposite the Westwood Cross Shopping Centre.
This project required the removal of existing building foundations and associated concrete over site and the erection of a steel frame building with brick, block and composite cladding.

The client required the provision for early access fit-out works six weeks prior to Practical Completion. The removal of World War II unexploded ordnance posed additional challenges during the programme.
