THE BUILDING BLOCKS OF OUR BUSINESS

Health & Safety

We are committed to carrying out all our business activities in both a professional and ethical manner and to that end many of our projects are registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme. We continually strive for excellence; providing working conditions that are both safe and healthy on our construction sites and in our offices. To ensure that the company maintains best practice and compliance in all legislative, operational and training areas relating to Health, Safety and the Environment, we dedicate the resources of an in-house SHEQ team supported by external consultants, 4See Risk Management.

Quality

We are all required to perform our duties in accordance with the procedures and instructions set out in our Integrated Management System documentation.
Policy objectives are communicated to all staff through a comprehensive training programme and through active involvement in the continual development of the system. This ensures our total commitment to the pursuit of quality, formally accredited to ISO 9001. Certification is awarded by IMS International.

Corporate Responsibility

We care about people in the community and particularly those with a disability. To maximise the benefit of our resources, we concentrate our funding and active involvement towards two charities:

Mersea Island Festival Trust is a regional charity based in Essex. This small, volunteer based organisation provides inclusive adventure camping breaks for young people with physical, sensory or learning disabilities. Tom Brennan is a Trustee.

The Treloar Trust provides education, care, therapy, medical support and independence training to young people with physical disabilities from all over the UK and overseas. Their aim is to prepare these young people for adult life, giving them the confidence and skills to achieve their full potential.
