Imperial College: ‘Thinkspace’
Category B Fit Out of the Ground and 1st floor of Block C of Centre House, to provide variable sized lettable office accommodation of suite sizes between 20m² and 200m². Office space was created on a cellular basis with each suite individually served by dedicated IT facilities and dedicated power, lighting and fire safety systems.
The suites are glass fronted with full height laminate doors and all perimeter walls are protected from both fire and acoustic breakout and installed structure to structure. Office front
manifestation is fully compliant with Part M of the Building Regulations and fully accessible suspended ceiling systems provide easy access for future installations and upgrade.
One half of the basement has been refurbished to provide a multi-use Media Centre, comprising quiet study areas and a hi-tech media lab. Breakout and rest areas are complimented by a fully functional modern kitchen. The other half of the basement now contains a multi-purpose open plan area, ideal for exhibitions, conferences, presentations and functions. An extensive AV & media system has been installed to cater for a variety of needs.
