This project is one of a series that Brennan Limited have delivered to Imperial College London for end user Autolus at Forest House, Depot Road, White City, London, W12 7RP
Autolus are building a leading biotechnology company focussed on the development and commercialisation of engineered T-cell therapies for haematological and solid tumours in which life-threatening diseases are treated by a patient’s own cells.
The project consists of alterations to the existing ground and first floor and the delivery of a bespoke fit-out. The newly configured building will provide them with the necessary facilities to conduct their research programmes. Works include:
- Lining to existing external walls and secondary double glazing to increase thermal insulation values on the ground floor.
- Construction of new spaces on the first floor to create laboratory areas including the facilitation of specialist furniture.
- Construction of new partitioning on the ground floor to create
- four meeting rooms
- eight office rooms an open plan
- office area video conference room
- tea point
- The entire ground floor area will encompass a new suspended ceiling.
- Installation of a carbon dioxide manifold to deliver the gas to the 1st floor laboratories has been included in the project
Our project also includes additional mechanical & electrical installation, decorative finishes and a full laboratory fit-out to the first floor (north) by a specialist contractor.
The ability to hand over a snag-free space is essential in the delivery of these laboratories Once operational, it is not possible to re-enter the space and interrupt research to conduct any remedial work.
