Fitzroy House and Sackville House in central London were subject to a planned programme of refurbishment and renovation prior to their release on the letting market.
Fitzroy House was built in the 1960s to provide 25,000 sq ft of prime office accommodation over five floors. The internal finishes, services and infrastructure were dated and no longer supported modern office use.
Brennan were contracted to carry out a full ‘back to shell’ strip-out followed by a full refurbishment including air conditioning, energy efficient lighting, type L2 fire alarm, new toilet facilities as well as fully fitted office areas and reception.
The building presented a logistical challenge because the 5th and 6th floor contained residential units. This necessitated a sensitive approach to the programme, logistics planning and health and safety routines.
Sackville House required similar refurbishment to just the third floor.
