'Not for Profit' Support
The Brennan Group cares about people in the community and particularly those with a disability.
To maximise resources, funding is concentrated primarily towards two charities:
- The Wooden Spoon Society is the chosen charity of British Rugby. It aims to enhance the quality and prospects of life for children and young persons in the United Kingdom who are disadvantaged, either physically, mentally or socially.
- Mersea Island Festival Trust is a regional charity based in Essex. This small, volunteer based organisation provides inclusive adventure camping breaks for young people with physical, sensory or learning disabilities. Our Managing Director Tom Brennan is the Chair of this growing volunteer-led organisation.
As well as financially contributing towards these two organisations, our company actively supports their work by coordinating our corporate events with their fundraising activities and providing human resources and support in a range of specialist areas.
In addition to these two chosen organisations, the company has also provided disabled supporters at Ipswich Town Football Club with spoke guard wheels bearing the emblem of their favorite team.
